FloorBuddy (the mobile app, the web portal at app.floorbuddy.app, and this website) is operated by ListConnect LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can delete it.

1. Information We Collect

When you use FloorBuddy, we collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and any data you enter while creating jobs and room measurements.

When you use the app or web portal we also store:

AR measurement data you save (room dimensions, wall lengths, area calculations)
Your credit balance and credit usage history
Team (organization) membership, if you create or join a team
Basic technical information our servers receive with each request, such as IP address, device type, and app version, used for security and troubleshooting

The mobile app does not use advertising or analytics SDKs and does not collect your device location.

2. Camera and AR Data

FloorBuddy uses your device's camera exclusively for augmented reality room measurement. We do not record, store, or transmit camera images or video. The camera feed is processed on-device in real time and is never uploaded to our servers.

AR measurement data (coordinates, distances, and area calculations) is stored to provide your job history and quote generation features.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the FloorBuddy service
To generate and share flooring quotes on your behalf
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets)
To send product updates and marketing emails (with your consent)
To analyze usage patterns and improve the product

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account and job data is stored on servers run by our cloud hosting providers. The app keeps its sign-in token in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read, and removes it when you sign out or delete your account. All data is sent between the app, the web portal, and our servers over HTTPS/TLS encryption.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Cloud hosting providers — run our servers, database, web portal, and this website
Stripe — processes payments made on the web portal (we never see or store full card numbers)
Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery
Google Analytics — anonymous visit statistics for this marketing website (floorbuddy.app) only; it is not used in the mobile app

6. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time:

In the app: Settings → Delete Account
On the web portal: Settings → Delete Account at app.floorbuddy.app
By email to hello@floorbuddy.app from the address on your account

Deleting in the app or portal removes your account, jobs, rooms, measurements, credit history, and team memberships immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days. Payment records held by Stripe and our payment logs are kept as required for tax and accounting. See floorbuddy.app/delete-account for details.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Opt out of marketing communications

8. Children's Privacy

FloorBuddy is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of FloorBuddy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
